Our online courses and materials are geared towards various professional levels from basic to advanced, and some are free. As a NASBA CPE sponsor, most courses will qualify for CPE credit.

State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual course for CPE credit. Our Online Self-Paced Courses are comprehensive and interactive, including exercises, quizzes, and a final assessment. Most courses are between 2-5 hours long. Progress can be saved and resumed at your convenience.
Our Webinars are recorded formats and are available on-demand. Our Webinars are between 30-60 minutes.
Skills Tutorials are on-demand short videos lasting 2-5 minutes showing tips and techniques good for quick learning demos. The tutorials focus on technical applications and topics used by financial analysts and accountants, such as Excel. Our Skills Tutorials are free.
Our Resource Tools & Templates will help you perform your job faster and more accurately with ready-to-download files created by our expert analysts and are available for immediate use. These include lists, tools, templates, and financial models created and used often by our own TMG consultants. TMG’s proprietary financial models are available for purchase.
We continue to provide customized training with a real-time instructor. We offer both private and public courses in-person and virtually. Private courses are designed for your team, covering the areas of interest that are important to your company. Public courses are offered to an open audience and cover our standard course agendas. TMG Academy Online is comprised of Online Self-Paced Courses, Webinars, Skills Tutorials, Resource Tools & Templates, and Instructor-Led Courses (in-person and virtual).
If you are an independent learner or find it challenging to attend firmly scheduled training programs whether due to time or location constraints, our self-paced courses are suited for you. The biggest benefit is that you can take the course at your own pace and at your own convenience – in part or in whole. Because the courses are online, you can complete them at a convenient location with dependable Internet connection. If, however, you prefer the interaction of a group and a real-time instructor, you may want to consider our Instructor-Led Courses, which are available in-person or virtually.
The McKelvey Group has been consulting and training clients for 20 years. Our courses are developed by veteran TMG experts with hands-on client experience, often Subject Matter Experts. The courses are also approved by an external Review Board of Advisors, which includes professionals in the field including a CPA, every 2 years for accuracy and relevancy. Our Skills Tutorials and Resource Tools are created by our own TMG consultants and analysts who use these materials often, on the job for our clients.
Our Online Self-Paced Courses vary in length depending on the subject and the individual’s personal pace to complete. You should expect to spend 2-5 hours on an Online Self-Paced Course. See our catalog for more details. Most Webinars will be 1 hour. Skills Tutorials are 2-5 minutes long.
Our Online Self-Paced Courses and Webinars come with unlimited viewing and completion for 30 days from the date of purchase.
As a NASBA CPE sponsor, most of our paid courses will qualify for CPE credit. See our Catalog for details.
You will instantly receive a CPE certificate upon completing any Online Self-Paced Course or Webinar that qualifies. For Instructor-Led Courses that qualify for CPE, TMG will email certificates 1-2 days after the delivered course date.
Yes. For all paid courses, you have 30 days to complete the course from the date of purchase.

Upon completion of the course, you will have the opportunity to provide your feedback and submit any follow-up questions. We welcome your comments and our instructors are eager to respond.
Instructor-Led Courses (in-person and virtual)
Any cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled class are non-refundable but you have the option of rescheduling. If you reschedule to attend another course, we will apply your prior payment toward your new registration fee. No refunds will be made for the cancellation of a rescheduled course. Personnel substitutions may be made at any time. Payment must be received prior to the course date. No-shows are liable for the full course fee. In the event TMG must cancel a course, we offer a full refund or full credit toward a future training date. Registered course participants will be contacted via email using the email address originally submitted by the registrant.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds or cancellations for paid Online Self-Paced Courses, Webinars, or Resource Tools & Templates. Once purchased, the courses and tools are available for immediate download and use.
